
SWIMMING
Camp Happy Hall partners with the Millbrae Meadows Swim Club to provide a place for campers to build coordination, strength, and confidence in a positive and safe environment. The Swim Club also includes areas for sports and games for campers who wish to remain dry.
RECREATIONAL SWIMMING
(included in camp fee)
We have exclusive use of the Millbrae Meadows Swim Club for recreational swimming. Recreational swimming is Monday-Thursday from 9:00-11:30 AM during weeks 3, 6, 9, & 10. Campers can enjoy a variety of poolside activities if they do not wish to swim.

SWIM SAFETY
SUPERVISION
The pool and surrounding areas are supervised by certified lifeguards supervise and Camp staff at all times.
POOL
All campers that are authorized to swim may swim in the 3.5 ft section. Campers who wish to swim in the deeper section of the pool, are required to take a swim test.
SWIM TEST
Swim tests are administered by Lifeguards to determine swimming ability. Campers are issued colored wristbands designating the section(s) of the pool they are permitted to use.

SWIM LESSONS*
*Optional, not included in camp fee.
The Swim Club offers 30-minute swim lessons in two-week sessions during weeks 1-2, 4-5, 7-8. Swim lessons are Monday-Friday 9:00-11:00 AM. On Thursdays, swim lessons and field trips overlap. You have two options:

Take camper to swim lesson and meet Camp at the field trip site.

Opt out of swim lessons for the day and attend the field trip.

walking distance from camp.

TRANSPORTATION FOR REC SWIM & SWIM LESSON
If your child is signed up for AM Camp (7:00-9:00 AM), we will walk your child to the pool, if they arrive before 8:45 AM. If your child is not signed up for AM Camp or you arrive after 8:45 AM, please transport your camper directly to the Swim Club, and wait until a Camp staff member arrives at 9:00 AM.

DON'T FEEL LIKE SWIMMING?
For campers who do not want to swim, they can stay at Camp. We offer a variety of movement and sports activities for campers who want to stay dry. Campers enjoy basketball, soccer, chalk art, bubble fun, and have access to other fun sports equipment!
You and your child have the option to choose if they would like to go to the pool or stay at Camp.
Please note, campers who arrive at Camp after 8:45 AM will remain at the camp, unless transported there by a parent.
