SCHOOL-YEAR
TEEN LEADER PROGRAM
The Teen Leader Program is a unique opportunity for youth (in grades 7–12) to learn leadership and life skills while working with children in a summer camp setting. Teen leaders are paired with experienced staff and will learn responsibility, problem solving, and effective communication while helping to create a fun summer experience for the campers.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Learn how to be a positive role model for campers and teen leaders

Practice job skills – interviewing, job application, clocking in and out, and more

Develop practical life skills – responsibility, time management, and independence

Receive Certificate of Participation and Letter of Recognition (upon request)
RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Model positive behavior for campers and fellow teen leaders

Participate in all camp activities, including skits, rallies, and field trips

Support staff in Science, Creative Arts, and Movement Workshops
-
Assist campers and staff during lunch and snack time
-
Help maintain a healthy and organized camp environment

Please note, teen leaders are not responsible for the supervision of campers

Entering grade 8 in the Fall of 2019

Commit to a minimum of one full day of camp from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
