IMMERSIVE CURRICULUM DESIGNED FOR CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES TK-3
LABS, WORKSHOPS, & MORE
All workshops are designed to keep campers alert, enthusiastic, and engaged. Campers enjoy Science, Creative Arts, and Brain Power Workshops, as well as Swimming, Field Trips, Funtastic Fridays, and our popular Sandwich Bar.
Campers use pipe cleaners, hot glue, dowels, and more to create innovative designs. We've got tape of all sorts, scissors, and more to keep the creativity flowing.
Flubber, Oobleck, & Slime... OH MY! We've got all the ingredients to make the gooiest of creations! Add color, scents, and filler to create a one-of-a-kind concoction.
Campers use our thread cart to crochet, make lanyards, bead, and sew. Our Color Cart is stocked with paints, markets, stencils, stickers, and more. Our Sculpt Cart contains, clay, wire, and all the other fun tools to create fun animations!
Campers go vertical with our Lego Wall!! With a bit of planning a lot of creativity, campers use their engineering skills to build up and out.
Campers love to go head-to-head in a game of air hockey, join a team for a game of foosball, or work on their basketball skills with our indoor double shot basket hoops. Endless fun and no coins necessary!
Campers enjoy a challenging game of chess or checks, and classic card games like Go Fish, War, and Old Maid. Whether it's trading cards or Monopoly, campers will sharpen their critical thinking skills.
Campers engage in experiments that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Our Science workshops explore topics such as Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Space Science, and Mathematics.
Campers explore a variety of materials, textures, and colors as they utilize their imagination and creativity. Our Creative Arts workshops explore topics such as Music, Gardening Painting, Sculpting, Music, and Engineering.
Campers participate in physical activities that reinforce the fundamentals of physical movement and health, and teamwork. Our Movement workshops explore topics such as Teamwork, Sportsmanship, Concentration, and Dance.
Campers engage in activities that stimulate the mind and encourage healthy peer interactions, allows campers to develop their creative thinking skills. Brain Power activities include team building activities, and reading and discussion.
Campers venture out into the community on exciting field trips that serve as an extension of the week’s learning themes and lessons. Field trips include Memorial Park, Exploratorium, Sharp Park Beach, Junipero Serra Park, and the USS Hornet.
Campers’ hard work and achievements are rewarded with fun and challenging activities that utilize newly mastered skills. Funtastic Fridays offer a balance of structure and spontaneity and all activities are focused on the camp theme.

REGISTRATION
HOURS
Because groups need to remain with the same staff members to the greatest extent possible, we are offering schedules of 8.5 hours or less. You can choose from the following three schedules:

Regular Camp: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (7 hrs)

AM Extended: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (8.5 hrs)

PM Extended: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (8.5 hrs)
Please note, these schedules cannot be combined. Once your camper is in a specific group, you cannot change your schedule. There is a limited number of spaces for each schedule.
FEES
The rates below account for the reduction in AM and PM hours. Fees are based on our Regular Explorer pricing. If you were previously registered for our 2020 Summer Camp and were eligible for the Super Early Bird, Early Bird, Sibling Discounts, or your camper was registered for the Trailblazer Program, please add that in your registration notes and we’ll adjust your tuition.
