We have exclusive use of the Millbrae Meadows Swim Club for recreational swimming. Swimming (dates to be determined). Cabins alternate days to maximize social distancing. Campers can enjoy a variety of poolside activities if they do not wish to swim.

The pool and surrounding areas are supervised by certified lifeguards supervise and Camp staff at all times.
All campers that are authorized to swim may swim in the 3.5 ft section. Campers who wish to swim in the deeper section of the pool, are required to take a swim test.
Swim tests are administered by certified lifeguards to determine swimming ability. Campers are issued colored wristbands designating the section(s) of the pool they are permitted to use.
According to the CDC, there is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of recreational waters. Camp Happy Hall and the Millbrae Meadows Swim Club are committed to following safe swimming practices along with social distancing and everyday preventative actions to protect all staff and campers.
Cleaning and Disinfection
Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, such as handrails, door handles, tabletops. We will also ensure there is adequate soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels, and no-touch trash cans at all times.
Lifeguards and Water Safety
Lifeguards are only expected to monitor swimmers and will never be asked to monitor handwashing, use of cloth face coverings, or social distancing of others. Camp staff will monitor all health-related policies.
Camper towels and belongings will be spaced 6 feet apart, staggering use of communal spaces such as bathrooms and showers, and limiting the number of campers at the swim club at the same time.

TRANSPORTATION FOR REC SWIM & SWIM LESSON
If your child arrives at camp prior to 9:15 AM, we will walk your child to the pool, if they arrive after 9:15 AM, please transport your camper directly to the Swim Club, and wait until a Camp staff member arrives at 9:30 AM.
Please note, if your child’s cabin is scheduled for swimming, all campers in that cabin will go to the pool.

We offer a variety of poolside movement and creative arts activities for campers who want to stay dry. Campers enjoy basketball, soccer, bubble fun, crafts, and more!
