General Information

How old does my child need to be to attend Camp Happy Hall?
Campers must turn 4 by June 1, 2025, and be fully potty-trained to attend. -
What are the age groups for each program?

Adventurers: Entering TK - K

Explorers: Entering grades 1 - 3

Trailblazers: Entering grades 4 - 7

Teen Leader: Entering grades 8 - 12 (Application & Interview Required for Selection)

Can I sign my child up for a different program to be with a friend or sibling?
No, programs are strictly by grade, entering in the fall of 2025. -
Do the different programs ever mix?
While each program has its own activities, some large group events and activities may include multiple programs.

How do I register for camp?
Registration is completed online. Once registered, you will receive an email to set up a Parent Portal account. -
What if I already have an account for a different Happy Hall program?
You will still need to set up a separate account for Camp Happy Hall. -
When do I pay for camp?
Payments are automatically processed on the following dates:-
Weeks 1-4: May 2

Weeks 5-7: June 1

How do I pay for camp?
Tuition Auto Pay (TAP) is required. You can set up TAP via bank account (no fee) or credit card (2% service charge). -
What is the refund policy?

Deposits ($50/session) are non-refundable.

No refunds are issued after May 1, 2025.

Are there discounts or savings?
-
Early Bird Discounts: Available for weeks registered by the specified deadline.

Sibling Discount: Available for campers with siblings enrolled in Happy Hall Preschool.

Referral Credit: Earn $100 if a referred camper is new to Happy Hall and attends at least three weeks.

Who should I contact for support?

How do I stay informed during camp?
Use the 1CORE Family App to receive real-time updates, including activity highlights and incident notifications.
Attendance & Schedule

What happens if my child is late or absent?
Notify Camp Happy Hall via email at camp@happyhall.com or call (650) 409-5662. Absences cannot be made up, and there are no credits or refunds for missed days. -
What happens if I’m late picking up my camper?
A $1 per minute late fee applies after a five-minute grace period. Frequent lateness may result in dismissal. -
Where do I drop off and pick up my camper?
Drop-off and pick-up are located in the Camp Lodge (gymnasium/auditorium). -
How do I sign my camper in and out?
Use your unique PIN at the Sign In & Out Computers in the Camp Lodge. -
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Early Drop-Off: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM (AM Camp Fee applies).

Pick-Up: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM (PM Camp Fee applies).

Late pick-ups after 6:00 PM incur a $5 per minute fee.

What is your illness policy?
-
Stay Home
You must keep your child home if they have a temperature of 100.4°F or above or any flu-like symptoms. Symptoms include:-
Fever

Muscle aches

Cough

Congestion or runny nose

Headaches

Fatigue

Child Pick-Up
If your child develops a temperature of 100.4°F or flu-like symptoms while in our care, you will be called and must pick them up within one hour. -
Returning to Camp
After your child has been ill, please follow these guidelines before returning to camp:-
Mood, appetite, behavior, and activity have returned to normal.

No fever for 24 hours without the use of fever reducers.
-
Vomiting and diarrhea have cleared for at least 48 hours.
-
Frequent coughing and excessive nasal discharge have resolved.
-
Pain (earache, cramps, headache, etc.) has resolved.

How do you handle medications?
Medications require a doctor’s note and daily written authorization (Happy Hall Medication Authorization Sheet). Medications must be given to a director and cannot be stored in backpacks. -
How do you manage allergies and special diets?
List allergies and dietary needs in the Parent Portal and discuss them with the Camp Director. Changes to this information after the start date must also be communicated. -
What is the sunscreen policy?
Camp Happy Hall uses Rocky Mountain Sunscreen SPF 50 KIDS Spray Mist. Families may only bring alternative sunscreen if they list an allergy to Rocky Mountain Sunscreen in the Parent Portal.

What items are not allowed at camp?
Electronics, sharp objects, valuables, and trading cards are prohibited.
Meals & Snacks

Do I need to pack snacks?
Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. -
Do you offer a lunch program?
Families can sign up for the Camp Happy Hall Sandwich Bar (Monday-Thursday). Camp provides a free pizza and salad lunch on Fridays. -
What if my child has food allergies?
Parents must add all allergies to the Parent Portal. If any allergy is added to the Parent Portal after the start of camp, please also inform the Camp Admin, Director, or Program Lead.

Can my child bring a cell phone?
No, campers are not permitted to use cell phones. Camp phones are available for emergencies. -
What is the media consent policy?
By attending camp, you grant Happy Hall permission to use your child’s image in photos or videos for lawful purposes, including promotional materials.
